Erin Layshock grew up in Salisbury, Maryland, a small city surrounded by farmland and close to the coast.
Erin quickly took to art. Forcing her brother into drawing contests led to skipping ahead in class while exploring everything from acrylic paint to photography.
Erin went to Flager College to study fine art. There she refined her skills and found a particular affinity for painting. Art remains a constant part of life.
